but e good thing is my dad was calm & i sense that he won't whack me.

is about these children at Red light district of Calcutta who stay in brothels since young.
& for the girls,whn they grow up,they most probably be one of those woman in the brothel.
But this Jewish woman who doesn't want them to go in such things,thus help them to get an education. But since she only knows about photographic stuffs,so she taught them that.
She took the photos that the children took and sent it for display at some place & get money for them.
Finally,she's able to get everyone of them an eduation BUT sad to say,some of them drop out of school due to maybe family probs or stress.
